Hi, I'm Matt from 'Autumn'

It is that time of the month again when we sit down with one of our captains and dive into the history of these interesting characters.

Welcome to Captains questions, Can you introduce yourself?

• Hi, I’m Matt from M/Y ‘Autumn’, I have just finished my first season onboard and have loved every minute of it.

What made you get into yachting?

• My love for sailing and exploring new places got me interested in yachts and now I struggle keeping away from the water, the weather helps too!

What is your favourite yacht?

• It would have to be ‘Alfa Nero’ just for the stunning design and presence on the water. Also the Yacht ‘SKAT’ ranks way up there with its military looks and great crew.

What is your favourite charter location?

• After having just spent a full season in the Balearics I must say this is my favourite location. The hidden bays and sandy beaches just make this place out of this world.

Most memorable charter from 2015 and why?

• Our Maiden Charter with 2 lovely German families. It was their first time chartering and our first charter with ‘Autumn’. We had absolutely perfect weather and managed to anchor in some remote and picturesque locations. They were fun and active. The guests appreciated and loved everything about the trip. It made me think “this is why I love my job”.

Favourite Hobby / Music / Car?

• Snowboarding, climbing mountains, football and driving / 120bpm minimal / Audi RS4 and VW T25
