September is always a busy month, and this year was no exception. We began with the Cannes Yachting Festival. Sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures prevailed which insured that we enjoyed record numbers of visitors to the stand. We were fortunate enough to have Sunseeker 116 Yacht Fleur on show we invited clients and brokers along to tour her layout and meet with her crew. Exhibiting alongside our colleagues in sales from the Sunseeker London group meant that we were also able to show clients some of the latest offerings from the Sunseeker range. The new 95 Yacht and Manhattan 52 were very well received and we are delighted to report that we were involved in a number of meetings with potential owners who are looking to market their new boats for charter.
With just a couple of days in the office to re-group, we traveled just along the South Coast from our Dorset based office and shipyard to the Southampton Boat show. For the Sunseeker family, the Southampton Boat show is the highlight of the yachting calendar. A busy 10 days ensued, and we were joined by returning and new clients alike to discuss chartering plans for 2017 and look over the latest additions to the Sunseeker range. Yet more meetings with potential charter yacht owners were had and Sunseeker London group reported record sales across the range.
With just a day in the office to catch up -the Monaco Yacht Show followed soon after. The superyacht world decend on Port Hercules in Monaco for five days and Sunseeker Charters joined forces with colleagues from the Sunseeker London Sales team once again. With three of our larger yachts on show; the new 95 Yacht, Sunseeker 116 Yacht and Sunseeker 131 Yacht, we were able to show clients and other charter brokers around what we have to offer the charter market. Sunseeker 116 Yacht ‘Fleur’ was a real hit and has consequently taken a number of bookings. CA charter yacht -Sunseeker 131 ‘Jacozami’ also joined the event at anchor outside the port giving clients the opportunity to visit by tender. Captain Jean-Maxime and his crew have done a superb job this summer and the yacht looks in fine fettle ready for the 2017 season.
2017 is looking set to be our busiest Mediterranean season to date, with new yachts joining our Central Agency (to be announced soon) and an unprecedented interest in chartering. As Autumn draws in and the impending winter in Europe looms, why not contact us to discuss chartering in the Bahamas, Caribbean or further afield…
